Hi, I’m Eryck Bry, a New York-based music producer, recording, and mixing engineer. I’m a tireless seeker of knowledge, occasional purveyor of wisdom, and coincidentally, a strong advocate for local indie talent. My work has been featured in TV shows, commercials, films, and countless records. I am fortunate enough to have worked with some of the most prominent names and rising stars in the music industry.
My experience in the audio field has allowed me to freelance in a number of reputable studios all over the country and over the years, I have developed professional and personal relationships with many of the worlds’ finest artists, musicians, engineers and producers whom I have grown to respect. Though I am best known for working on pop, EDM, hip-hop, reggae and indie projects, I have recorded and mixed nearly every musical genre you can imagine including rock, jazz, latin, R&B, soul, gospel, film/TV soundtracks, and movie scores.
Outside of the studio, I share my passion for audio and music production by providing insight and expertise to aspiring producers and engineers alike. I regularly deliver guest lectures at universities and colleges, and I’m actively involved in many industry events and organizations.
MY STORY
My love for music began at an early age and it has been a fundamental part of my life. Throughout my childhood years, I was encouraged to take lessons and learn as many instruments as possible. By the time I finished high school, the audio bug had bit me. I traded a couple of my guitars for an 8-track cassette recorder and a sampling groove-box and I was hooked! My newfound interest in music production and audio engineering simply became a hobby of mine. However, as soon as I realized this was a viable field, I decided to pursue it whole-heartedly. From there, my journey into the professional world of music began.
In 2006, I became an in-house music producer and engineer for Sound Squeeze, a privately owned production studio in Long Island. In late 2007, I started working freelance out of Lobo Recording Studios where I developed my skills recording and mixing for some of the best studio musicians in the world. Towards the end of 2009, I ventured off as an independent music producer and started Friggy Music LLC. Since then, my whole career has been a domino effect with one opportunity leading right into the next.
I recently decided to take the leap into full-time freelance to focus on creating quality sounds for numerous projects. I work in various studios within the New York community, deciding on which space to use based off the equipment needed for each individual project. I currently split my time producing and mixing for high-profile clients and scouting the world in search of the next up-and-coming artist.

I am committed to nurture, direct, and achieve exceptional performances from you as an artist and to find the perfect balance of creative exploration and technical skill that will bring your vision to life.
Outstanding composition, use of right technique, and creativity is my benchmark for quality. From writing and arranging to producing and mixing, I believe going the extra mile is what makes the difference between the ordinary and the extraordinary.
Simply stated, I love creating music- the process, the challenges, the rewards. Being around creative people and making things that will hopefully last beyond our years is an endless source of inspiration.
